Photographer, videographer, audio engineer, musician.
Campbell Parker is a multi-faceted provider of photography, videography, and audio recording. Trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland as a classical musician and has worked in the arts for over 10 years as a performer and organiser, Campbell is very much at home in the concert hall, festival, and performing venue. From musician to content producer, the experience of being a musician is central to his creative approach.
Campbell is in demand across Scotland and beyond having worked with Dunedin Consort, ABRSM, Scottish Ensemble, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, The Glasgow Barons, Young Scottish Musicians and an array of young musicians. His thoughtful, conscientious and committed character has earned him the trust to produce consistent results without detracting from the performance that is centre stage.
Whether it’s getting the best from a full orchestral recording, capturing a memorable audition, or grabbing a portfolio of promotional shots, Campbell has experience with professional groups and individuals, students and more. Based in Glasgow and Edinburgh, shoots wherever the commission takes him. Normally seen with a Sony A7IV, a stack of tripods, and a few cables under the arm.

“Campbell interpreted the Scottish Young Musicians brief and produced a useful video encapsulating everything we wanted. The first version was delivered promptly and further edits were turned around with speed until the final version was achieved. He was a pleasure to work with and would be happy to work with Campbell again and would recommend him to others.”
— Alan Kerr, Chairman Young Scottish Musicians
“It is not always possible to reach the sound that I want for recordings. Every time I work with Campbell, he tries to find out my desired sound and achieves it at the very point where silky sound quality and live excitement meet. This is what I always seek for!”
— Futo Yamane, Cellist
“Campbell was very professional throughout and made the recording experience enjoyable, offering helpful advice but also being receptive to our input. He spent some time making sure the set up was correct for us, adjusting balance and microphone placement. The end result was a very high quality recording which we were all impressed by. The files were sent to us promptly after the recording for us to choose the final take. We would definitely recommend Campbell for anyone looking to get high quality, professional standard recordings.”
— Resol String Quartet
“Recently we had a session with Campbell that has prepared us promotionally for a wide range of venues and media. Campbell took advantage of the space we were using to find shots that were in-keeping with our aesthetic without losing his own artistic flare. He explained to us the ideas he was having throughout the process so that we were all comfortable and engaged. We received high-quality photos very quickly that were perfect for social media as well as press-kits and posters.”

“I had a great time working with Campbell. He was such an easy and lovely person to work with. With his years of training and experience in classical music, he really focuses on you as the artist and brings out the best in you in every way that he can making your music sound great. I would highly recommend Campbell for your next project!”
